Well here is the way I saw it at Florence Oregon racing up Comp Hill, and the YFZ had a full exhaust sytem, and airbox mods!

YZF 450- was taking any and all banshee's off the line, and the fast banshee were passing him3/4 the way up the hill. He was a small rider and was good, he just did not have the top speed to out run them all the way up the hill. Keep in mind only the real fast Banshee's were passing him up the hill!

Banshee- If you had it properly built you were beating the YFZ up the hill, but NO ONE was getting the hole shot on the YFZ!

 

Hey hondaracer i bet you can take him with those mods you got. is his stock? on dirt you loose so much you get beat of the line by 3 bikes. ive raced a yfz i did get smoked off the line since we were on dirt(about 3 bike lenghts) lol but smart me made this race like long till we went top speed for like 5 seconds then you can talk about getting smoked. Hondaracer make the race long if you cant gedt asphalt dont underestimate those suckers they are nice and fast . if i could i would get one but ill always keep this banshee its one of a kind bike

 

Thats absoulutly retarted. If you think a boost bottle does something then your opinion should be thrown out the window. And your right because the shee is still running. The only yfz's I've seen yet got broken that same day. What are the odds.

To everyone:: As for the R its a great bike and will always respect it but it is definitly not mod for mod faster then the shee stop the BS.

Yfz for turning shee for going fast. 700 for nothing.

 

So how much did you pay for the 310 thats 6/10ths over the stock bike?

 

I was at sand mountain(little sahara, Utah) last weekend and happened to see a race between a shee, 250r, lt250r, yfz450.
all of them were stock.

1. Yfz 450 won by probably 4 lengths.
2. shee, 250r, & lt250r were all within 1 bike lengths.

Rider skill could have been a factor, since i didn't know any of them.
that was a hill shoot though, don't know how they run on flat.

Don't worry 2strokers we still got more aftermarket speed, but i don't know for how long.

 

you shouldn't have to try and hang with him, you should have to hang back so he can catch up.

 

I'm going up(to sandmountain) this weekend, and bound to see a whole gang of 450's(those things are the new trend-fest, and for a good reason).

hey stang were you dreaming when you seen your bro's 400ex beat a worked raptor?i think you were because my heavy auto polaris beats piped,jetted,open airbox with k&n 400ex's,i know it wont beat a raptor..

 

lol those 400ex's wont wake up enough to beat a worked raptor in a drag,sorry but its not going to happen.ok maybe if the guy on the raptor forgets to shift or something but thats the only way..ive only been riding a couple years and like i said ive beat modded 400ex's with my scrambler and they all know how to ride..

 

My 400EX will take piped Raptors and piped Z400's in a drag. Maybe the Raptors around here are defective but they aren't really that fast.

Anyways, This is how I would have it in a stock for stock drag.

2. Banshee
3. 250R
4. V-Force
