how do you guys do it? screw ins, snow pics, liners, tubes? just looking for some ideas. thanx in advance.

buy some 1/2 studs and screw as many in as possible..

only 50-100 per tire though. If it is for ice racing use 3/4 or 1 inch studs

Best thing to do is buy extra set of tires and stud them. Stay off the roads or your lose them fast.

50 or 100... if you dont wanna get traction... i just got done mine.. it took 3 hours... i put prolly 250-300 in each tire... and i still dont think i have enuff.. i used 5/8 original gold ice screws.

dirtwheels said noy to put more than 50 per because it's supposedly hard on the axle.

well... dirtwheels doesnt know sh!t to be honest with you... thats not even 1 screw per lug... you need more.. and it isnt hard on the axel.
you need to put atleast 2 per lug.. and 3-4 would be alot better

my buddie put snow pics through his predator tires with tubes, pretty cool but something like two hundred bucks, i'm gonna go cheap this year.

look in my pics... is not a good pic but you can see how i studded mine up this year... i am gonna add a few more tho.. i used a little under 1000 in those pics right there.

studde up my sons banshee the other day.. 1300 - 1/2" sheet metal screws in the rear tires.
it wheelies on glare ice. we put skis on the front using plastic skis and arctic cat spindles off a 1000 cat. tied them in to the ball joints and braced with tube. runs great and looks coooool.
