i dont get all the people who say a banshee isnt a good trail bike, yes on deep mud and tight twisty trails it can get stuck. but truthfully it is my bike ofchoice on large less twisty trails. thoughts?

I totally agree. Some people just read articles off magizines and since they have been out for a while there supposed to be out of date. What people dont realize is that what ever then newest bike is they say that its better. But the fact is that they sit lower then most bikes out there and a modded shee will come out of a corner faster then any 4joke made. I have rode 400ex, kfx 400, raptor, and I gurantee I can take a turn sharper then those bikes, because they sit way too high and want to flip. If you know how to make the 2 stroke powerband to your advantage they cant keep up out of a turn and when you hit a straight away you know what happens to them. Another plus with the shee is it's hill climb ability. Nothing gets the wheels spinning like a shee. Unlike other new 4 strokes they can bog. Just hit the gas and once the shee is in the powerband, I can guarentee you it wolln't bog out. Finally the best part of a shee is when ever you want you can throw rocks, dirt, and mud all over them, and they cant do it back.

In reply to the thread...I do agree, a banshee can be used for more than what people give it credit for.

When i raced my banshee through a harescramble, with trails so tight you would think a 300ex (for ex.) is the only way to get through them, the only thing in front of me on those trails was a highly modded 03 blaster, man, the rider could really weave that blaster, i caught up to him in the fields and mx part of the track, but about %80 of the track was tight trails. I did beat 1 kfx400, 2 z400s, 2 or 3 raptors, a 300ex, 2 400ex's, and im pretty confident i could have beaten the person on that blaster if my banshee didnt lay down on me (midpipe and silencer fell off). but anyway, yes, a banshee is a very good trail quad if you know how to use it.

Lets just say they can't climb near the size hills that a 300ex can. Trust me.
