there is no stock quad being made today that break the 75 mph barrier. check what any expert will say and check the numbers from the most respected publications! the only quad ever that broke the 80 mph mark bone stock was the mighty quadzilla back in 1990 as tested by three and 4 wheel action magazine. it went 81 mph! the era of musclecars is gone, the era of big bore two strokes motocrossers is also gone so is the era of the quadzilla, but it is still the baddest quad ever made. and those who owns them and ride them knows what i'm talking about. an absolute blast!

It only costs a few bucks to get a 75mph quad to 90 But yes I used to have a LT500 and it did move pritty quick. Faster than ANY stock 4-stroke will EVER be. Unless its 900cc or higher.

I read in a magazine, not sure which one but they did a full on test on a banshee and said pull after pull that they could only get 68 mph out of her and then evey where else i hear it is 71, 72, 77. Do you think it had something to do with the conditions or do you think that the so called top speeds are actually slower than what they claim. I raced a scrambler 400 2 stroke with my warrior and beat him AND I HEARD THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GO 60-65 MPH. i know my warrior with suppertrapp pipe will maybe pull 60-63 mph. so is it bull or what.

DS, Raptor, and Banshee get into the mid-70's stock. I agree with what dragracer789 said. The LT was a bada$$, but 80 mph can easily be reached with some of todays quads. It only costs about $30 to get a DS to break 80.
I've seen a Warrior that could break 90, but it had the help of a 600cc Ninja engine.
