Smaller Rear Sprocket. What will I gain?

What will I gain if I put a smaller rear sprocket on my 300ex. If I do put one on what size chould it be?

A smaller rear sprocket will give you more top end. A 36 would be a good size.

smaller in the back more tp end larger better acceraeation
smaller in the front better acceration
larger more top end

The general rule is about 3 teeth in the back equals one in the front. If you still have the stock 13t in the front change it to a 14t. The reason is that it is easier to change the front,the fronts costs less, and to go smaller in the rear you might have to shorten the chain. If you read the writer before he has a 14t on his 300ex.
