Witch one would be better for fast trail riding some mud, water and snow? (No dunes or racing will be done)

kfx would be your best bet. you have a lot more torque and low end with the twin, and you can clutch it to your needs. Also more accepting of bigger mud tires.

The V will be better if you are a big guy. It also has reverse (but I think the pred now has it).

the v is better for a bigger guy. My friends modded piped and jetted 700 vs my friends my piped and jetted predator the predator won in drag race if that matters. The v force would be better for snow, It did a little better at the time because it had reverse but it still got stuck just as much. THe new pred with reverse would of gone farther in the snow i think. the 700 burns some fuel though. Predator probably will go a little longer with smaller engine that puts out same power.

100 miles to a tank? No way, with the stock gas tank you might get 50. The V has more ground clearance than any quad that is chain driven and that will give you an advantage in the mud and snow (and it probaby has the worst gas mileage of any 4 stroke sport quad as well). For mud / snow conditions I’d recommend putting GBC Gators (same size as the stock tires) on the rear. The Gators give you a lot better traction in the slippery stuff...
