Has anyone come up with a checklist of things to check and spare items to have before heading out to the next trailhead/race?

I thought I would post this here thinking that a lot of you probably race with the sport quads...

I ride an hour away from the house and am trying to come up with a checklist of things to look at on the quad and mainly things to have for the trip.

e.g. xtra wheel with tire mounted and ready to roll... Gas can... lug wrench and any other tools...

You get my idea... I just don't want to pop a tire and be out the rest of the day trying to find a shop that is open and has the parts I need, etc... I would rather have stuff on hand to swap out and continue to ride...

I guess you all understand where I am coming from...

If you can think of another area to put this post let me know...

I always take an extra spark plug, a set of plugs for the tire, and a can of air to inflate the tire agian. Extra fuel helps also.

as for stuff to take....unless im going to one of the big parks i don't take n e thing on the quad with me.....i leave it all at the truck.....where i ride im usually no more then 15 min from the vehicle

Hey! where did you get the IPT tires and new wheels from? I am looking online for a spare in case I blow one out during a ride.

My situation is.... I ride 1.5 hrs away in Virginia on my family's land (1000 acres or so); therefore, I want to have some stuff handy incase something happens. It would suck to blow a tire or something trivial and have to call it a day just when we get started riding....

oh ok....i live in towson....in baltimore county


i jsut have the stock wheels/tires in the truck, the cables, jumpers, all my tools, pretty much n e thing i would need to fix the quad short of tearing down the motor or something like that.

the wheels and tires actually came from a local place cuz they price matched for me
