Thank you guys for all your help. I am glad the point about the transmission being fixed for 02, because I had heard about the problems in 01. Although I talked with our local Yamaha shop and they said the 02 had problems with 1st and 2nd gear, and something about a boot coming off. I think they were just trying to sell me a new one though! I have decided to go with the Raptor(less than 15 minutes on it), because if for some reason I don't like it, my husband and I can trade and both be happy. Thanks again.
