What I do is clean the quad good before it gets real cold, and the snow will actualy help keep it clean, but riding on salty roads won't. Then when it gets realy packed full of snow and ice I will melt the snow off in the heat. That's all I do, but watch the brakes if there is water and ice in there it can refreeze and lock the wheels.

I posted this yesterday, but for some reason it did'nt take.I take mine to the 25 cent wash and completely spray it off.It than goes to my heated Pole Barn.I have a wood stove,165k propane heater, and a 100k gas furnance.I put wood in the stove, crank up the propane for about 10 minutes.I can heat the barn from 65-90 degrees with no problem. After about 10 minutes,I run on only the wood stove.I dry my quad.Than I apply some stuff called ''DO ALL'' to the entire quad, really makes it look new.BTW,I love my pole barn.It is equipped with water, electricity, gas, sink, fridge, blower system for painting, and 26 inch Cable TV.It makes for maintaining the car, truck, and ATV a breeze.====BILL
