WHAT ARE YOU RUNNING FOR A MAIN IN YOUR Z ?

 

i just put on a full yoshi and prodesign filter with the lid off...i've got a 160 main...it seems to be fine

 

MBRP slip-on, lid off w-Uni filter & Outerwares, 155 main about 2 1/2 turns out on mixture screw.

 

Pro design, K&N, Lid off, Yoshi Slip-on, 155 main jet seems to be doing me just fine

 

I'm running a 170mj. 4th clip on the needle and a 25 pilot. Still have a bad spot about 1/4-1/3 throttle at just the right rpm i'm working out. I'm going to try a 175mj as it still sounds like it's going lean up top. Pulls like a freight train though.

Engine mods:
Muzzy full exhaust
Uni Filter and CFM airbox
Ported/polished head 5 angle valve job
Hot Cams Stage 2
DRZE head gasket

 

165 main , 33.5 pilot , 3 turns out , needle in lean position .......CT full pipe , no lid , no snork

 

160 mj, needle on 3rd clip
I have a slight dead spot around 1/8 to 1/4 throttle
25 and 27.5 pilot jet on order, I tried a 32.5 and it was way to rich. (22.5stock)

 

150mj, Alba needle 4th slot down, 25 Pilot jet, 3 turns out on pilot screw, Uni filter, TPI airbox vent, Snorkle baffle removed, drilled out muffler end cap. Gonna try a 155mj this weekend. I also removed that plastic baffle that is attached to the under side of the lid and screen behind the air filter.

Oh and it runs fricking awesome! not bad for $60.
