LT230E ?? Don't know!
 

Hi, I have just picked up a 1986 Suzuki 230 for my kid. I don't know what the heck it is though. I am hoping you guys could help me out as it needs a rear axle and I want to make sure I get the right one. Like I said, it is a 230, it is dual range, shaft drive, electric start and does not have any suspension in the rear. Any help with this would be appreciated.

what you mean you dont know what it is? my first quad was a lt230E quadrunner, that is exactly what you have.
there is a couple varieties of these. my bro has a lt230s witch is the quadsport. and there is the lt250 quadracer.

Thanks, what I meant was I did not know if it was a LT230E or a LT230S etc.. I saw some pics of a LT230E with rear suspension so I was not sure. Thanks again.

I believe what you have is the suzuki lt230ge quadrunner. It is not a lt230e quadrunner. They made a suzuki lt230e, but it was single range, and had rear suspension. They made the ge in 1985 and 1986,
