on my z400, the wheelie bar is really small, will it keep me from goin completely back like passed the wheelie bar?

i would imagine that it would stop u from flippin backwards at slow wheelies. I also wondered if the points of the back fenders would hit when its strait up and down.

Yes, but the z-400 whellie bar (grab bar) metal is really less stronger to the friction than the 400ex's grab bar. The z-400 grab bar will use to the first over whellie (at 2nd gear) and when I say use, it is not only the paint.

the grab bar will work up to 2nd gear.after that your on your own

I've done it a few times in drag races and it really does keep you from flipping but it sure eats into the metal on asphalt. I have heard of people flipping back on the wheelie bar going really fast and it kicked the atv sideways. I myself am a little more careful than I used to be.

I've hit mine while in third at about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and had no problem, but then again that was on dirt and grass though!

It'll work fine, me and my dad have both gone all the way back and had no problems.

i have a little hit for the wheelie bar idea i would ride wheelie's at the ballance point
my bar looks like pretzel.... i was rideing wheelie my hands where went and left hand slipped so i crabed what i had on the right side and it ended up being a hand full of throttle that bar bent right but...... now i am getting idea's how to make it stronger.... |
