How can I make my plastic look better?

I checked on some new plastic for my '02 Eiger, and I decided I would do it later, but for the time being, what can I use to make it look semi-new again? Is there a product in the local auto parts stores that would work? Thanks for any help!

How can I make my plastic look better?

I had the Nov. issue and I read that article, I may try the silicone spray deal, but there is another option I would like to try. I saw this stuff that is supposed to "re-new" atv and motorcycle plastic. I work at a car stereo shop and my boss has a motocross racing division in the store because him and his son race, so I can get some good deals through a company called "Magnum" that he goes through. The entire kit costs like around 10 bucks. I figure it's worth a shot and if it doesn't work well, I will go back to the extreme tire shine method I have used in the past! Thanks for the help!

PC Racing's Plastic Renew does a pretty good job, but it requires LOTS of prep work to look good. Basically you sand down all the scratches and bad spots moving into finer and finer sandpaper, then start building the finish back up with coats of the clear Plastic Renew. With many coats (about 7 or 8) with fine steel wool buffing inbetween, you can make your old plastic look almost new. Peridoic re-coating will be needed.
