Default Modding my new 04 z400

Hey guys i need some help! I want to start modding my z400 and i dont want to sacrifice reliability.i was thinking of +2 aarms, elka shocks w/resevoirs, cdi "any preferences " a mild cam not some extreme racing application but somethink to give it pep. If a cam is going to lower reliability then i might not get it. Some holeshot itps and also want a set of tires if i want to go digging. i was thinking the itp 589s i think. I already have a winch on the front on a custom bumper. and of course a pipe and filter kit...what give the z400 the most power. Can i get a pro circut ti4 duel exhaust for it/is it a good choice.

Ok first off, why would you want duals for a single cylender with a single exhaust port??? Second, you woent be able to fit 589's because they will rub the heal guards and even if you could your clutch would be smoked befor you got to any mud.You dont need elkas or plus 2 a-arms unless you plan on doing some racing that is a bit more serious then back yard fun wich I dont think you will be doing seeing as how you want to put 589's on. get a JE 12:1 piston, a dyna ignition, a CT pipe, and thats all you need.

hey my quad still pretty much has as much reliability as it did when it was stock, the only difference is its a little harder to start in the below freezing temps, but i bought a big battery whick i had to modify to fit in, my suggestion is to do a yoshi full comp system, K&N filter 41mm keihn carb w/accelerator pump, 28 grind cams from alba and a 12:1 piston from alba. you will have to run 93 octane at least even though they say you can use regular. the stroker kit did more then i could have ever imagined, my acceleration is about 10 times better with my gearing. The long travel front end setup i have gives me about 12.5 inches of travel and about 11 of ground clearance, it alows me to maneuver through really tight deep trails. The dual rate rear is really really nice. well thats about it.
