Bigger tires for the Vinson
I just brought a new Vinson Camo home. I knew when I signed the papers that the stock Dunflats had to go. I'm already set on Kenda BearClaws from previous experiences. The Vinson sits a lot taller than the Kodiak I traded in, so here are my questions for anyone who might have switched tires.
Will putting on 26" tires make it feel too tippy?
Will 26" tires have enough clearance inside the fender wells, including when doing a full turn (bars turned all the way left or right)?
Thanks for any input.

The 26's will be okay, They will not rub. It may be very slightly more tippy, But well worth it. I have 28" gators on my Vinson with a 2" lift. The first time out it really felt tippy, but I got used to it real fast. I can go thru thing that my buddy with a stock Vinson gets stuck in. I can stradle some very big rocks and logs that he can"t. I have 16" of ground clearance at the foot pegs.

The bumper is from the local Suzuki dealer. It cost me $145.00, But it's on ebay for $99.00. The gearless locker is great. You can't tell it's there untill you hit 4WD, Then it grabs alot better than stock. I go thru things way better than my buddy with his stock Vinson. The gators are great, Still smooth on hard pack and pull great thru mud. They are wearing pretty well also. After I installed the tires, locker, and lift I broke the left CV. I took off the lift and then I broke the right CV. I have ordered some CV from Rockford Constant Velocity for $239.00 each. They are built much stronger than stock, And cheeper Than Gorilla Axels. Rockford suplies Gorilla with there parts, and the gorilla's cost 395.00 each.
