How Long Can A King Quad Hold Its Breath?
#1
How long can a King Quad hold its breath? I found out yesterday that mine can drive submerged for quite awhile. It is something which I hope to avoid in the future though. There is something about the sound of exhaust bubbles percolating through water that makes one wonder whether he really knows what he is doing. Well, I have a water line over 1/2 up my seat now. It was fun - I guess.

I've ridden my '99 King Quad pretty deep also, fun stuff man. I'll tell ya a scary story though. I'd only had it a couple of weeks when I got stuck in this creek behind a log, like a complete total IDIOT I shut the engine off. Well later when I winched it over the log (it was way deeper coming back over it than when I first crossed it is why I got stuck)and cranked it up, it started smoking. Oh I was severely "ticked" off. Well, I drained all the oil, put in a new filter and fresh oil, and it ain't smoked a lick ever since. I absolutely love this machine. If Suzuki would make a bigger bore King Quad, I'll buy it, if not I'll get me a Honda Foreman one day, either way the Suzuki & Honda 4x4's can take more abuse than any other machine I've ever heard of.
