z250 problem

Default z250 problem

my z250 keeps shutting off even when it is wormed up would the sparkplug have any thing to do with thise

the saem thing happens to mine. I was thinking of adjusting the idle screw.

I haven't had any problems with mine shutting off yet. I was out riding in the snow for almost an hour today and never had a problem. The only thing I could think of is maybe you are hitting your rev limiter. That will make it shut off.

no, like im riding in the snow and i stop so my niegbor can catch up and ive been riding for a while and it jsut shuts off. I cant be hitting the rev limiter.

yea same here when i ride no matter if it is 1 min or and hour it just shuts off i keep messing with the revlimiter and same thing happens keeps shutting off i think it might be somthin with the sparkplug i need to get a new one mabey

make sure the tube that is attached to the carb for venting is not melted shut, if it is just clip it and problem solved, this happens on many bikes, old and new.

I also have a problem getting mine to idol without stalling and if I'm in tight trails when I let off the gas the dam thing stalls,,it's getting to be a pain in the a$$......
I tried playing with the idol screw but that does not seem to help....

yea same here some times it feels like it gots lots of power then somtimes it slugs around

check gas tank vent tube make sure it isnt twisted...check feul hose make sure it seem like it is in good shape...check the wiring harnes under the seat run through and just make sure by hand everthing is connected tight...
