Are you going to get some new heel guards? I can't imagine my heel hitting a rear tire at any sort of speed.

Absolutely, I'm custom 'welding' (aluminum brazing rod) a simple set from some aluminum rod and 1/8" X 1" flat stock from home depot. Definitely don't want to get a calf sucked under those 25's, Believe me!

Here they are. I putted around my yard a little, learned 2 things.

1) FIrst gear still has plenty of power.
2) These things tear up grass better than a rototiller.

Here are the pics.... going out to the mud pits tomorrow to give them the real test.

That's really sweet looking.

Did you gear down yet?

No and it's a pain in the ***, like I'm missing first and always starting off in second. Definitely going to go down one on the front and up at least 2 in the back. Need to do the calculation on the tire size difference.

Went mudding both days this weekend. I was tearing through some impossible mud bogs and it just kept on going. These tires are awesome, I guess judging by the above posts they're not for everyone but it's exactly what I wanted. Plus I can still slide around turns, it's not as tippy as I though it would be, probably because of the extra width since they're 13.5" wide. Once I get re-geared look out!

Later,

"Traction Force" easy comparison

"Traction Force" = (rear sprocket)/(Front sprocket * tire diameter)

Just by using the stock tires 1/20 = 0.5 and 1/25 = 0.4 so you'll need to increase your rear/front sprocket ratio by 20%
