more starting woes
A couple of months ago I posted about the zilla not starting. Well I found part of my problem(previous owner had the wrong plug in). So I tried to kick start it last sunday...nothing. So we roll started it, got it running(too lean on top end, but I have since remedied that). Today I did alot of work to it(putting plastic back on, fixing various things, putting the Paul Turner pipe on) and tried to kick it...nothing. The weird thing is, once its warm I can kick start it. What do ya'll think the problem is? Right now I am leaning towards a spark problem. I have a 195 main(well just put a 200 in) and a 75(yes 75) pilot jet. We are gonna pull start it again in a bit and let it warm up good.

Usually if it wont start cold but will when it is warm, means lean. Choke or enrichener working? When its hot, pull the choke on, and it should die or run real rough.

I know the choke works, because after I started it it was idling really high, and when I pushed the choke back down it went to a better idle. It has a 40mm pwk and the idle adjuster screw doesnt look right. It is screwed in all the way, and there is no spring on it. I have another 40mm pwk and it isnt screwed in nearly as much.

Stator is bad. Gonna order another. It had better fix the problem.
