Where is the best place to get a k&n air filter for an eiger and will I need to rejet it when I put the filter in. Does it make a difference in power and what rpm range. I need some more bottom end. I have a problem when getting in it. If I get in mud and get on it to get through the mud it will bog down on me,like it runs out of power. What might this be. Does the carb need adjusted or need rejetting. It will crank up for a ways through it but then after about 30 seconds it just bogs down and wont hardly even turn the tires over.

You can order K&N filter directly from K&N, you will have to re-jet to make a differrence , but that also means you will need an aftermarket pipe(FMF) with more flow. You will get an increase in power and maybe a little better gas mileage. As far as bogging down. Sounds like a fuel flow / air flow problem. If everything is still stock then don't change jets unless you are at high altitude..
I haven't done anything to my Eiger yet, I am waiting for warranty to run out. MIne goes to shop next week, I have a knock at idle but no loss of power.

Someone a while back (or maybe another forum) posted that they put a k&n/jet in their Eiger and it made a noticeable (not drastic) difference. They also said that it became a lot less cold blooded. The main they used was a 124 (stock is 122).

Mikee2, welcome to the forum. If you want more low end you either have to put it in low or get a spring kit.

I will probably try a filter and jet kit. Maybe put a clutch kit in it also. How do you like your clutch kit and how much difference is it from stock.

Sounds like a fuel flow problem to me also. Does it act the same way on a long straight run? Have you added the inline fuel filter? If not See the posts on adding it and how to clean your carb. Might have something in the bowl blocking the jet when the fuel gets low in the bowl

Clutch kit is still on order. I ordered all the toys at the same time and told them to ship it once everything is in. Pipe is holding me up and is due in this week. I'll post when I get things installed.
