Hi, on my 03 Z 400 I replaced teh intake cam with a hot cam and did the DRZE base gasket mod, the motor used to be quite now it has a tick. The tick will get faster as you rev it, but does not seem to get louder, what could it be? I have searched. Thanks

Did you check and adjust the valve clearances after installing the cam? Might need a different shim.

Yup they are in spec.
