Hi i was wondering if any one could help me out on why my powerband isnt coming in and hitting hard.I have a 91 lt250r thanks

your carb needs rejetted or could lose on a worn crank...

Make sure that the powervalve adjuster hasnt come loose. I believe if it slacks off your power curve will be pretty flat. Otherwise get out the compression tester and do the ususal steps...

hey thanks for all of the advice i chcecked my powrvavle and it isnt loose and i was wondering what i should jet it at.....it has a paul turner pipe and running ams oil in it

Just look at your plug. It should be a nice tan brown color on the insulator. Black is rich and white is lean, more or less. Go from there.

Mine has no real hard hit anywhere in the band and look at all my mods. I never rode another Lt so I have nothing to compare it to mine does have gobs of low end though. I think the powervalve smooths out the power so much that there is no real jump in power all at once. I spoke to a guy who had a powervalve GAS GAS wild 300 and he said that although the GG would smoke a trx 250r it doesn't have the hard top end hit because the powervalve smooths out the power. If you figure it out let me know
