Im just wondering, my friend said something to the extent that suzuki is making/made a 1300cc racing quad? this sounds a little far fetched but hey, ya never know.. just wondering if anyone has seen/heard of this.. thanks

 

That does sound a little far fetched. Maybe he meant a 1300cc streat bike. It would be one cool dune machine I bet.

 

Suzuki makes a 1300cc sportbike that has around 150 horsepower......I don't think that'll ever find its way into a quad unless its done by a private party.....

 

that was an april fools joke in dirt wheels awhile back...they called it the Mt. Everest. I remember that...but it wasnt a racing quad, it was a utility.

Yea they make 1000cc and 1300cc superquads they are private conversions thought. They compete in the race to the sky which is an awesome anual event in new zealand. These guys get like 400hp out of turbo Hayabusa engines.

yea sorry to be confusing.
those guys put the turbos on the hayabusa engines.
hayabusa engines dont come standard with turbo and/or producing 400hp it takes alot of work

 

Just sold my Hayabusa, amazing bike. The guy that bought was going to put the engine in single person ultra-light sand rail.

 

For the record... Suzuki Hayabusas do not make 200HP, or have a turbo. (stock)

They do make around 170-180HP at the crank, and around 160 at the rear wheel.
