Default Throttle cable adjustment...Z250

I need to move my throttle over about an inch toward the grips because my aftermarket bars are wider than stock. How do you adjust the cable? I know that there is the cable adjustment screw things but how do I use them? I just need some more throttle play because when I turn to the right the gas accelerates.
Please help!!!

Hey man, I see you removed your airbox lid. What size jets did you use? Did it make a big difference with the airbox lid removed? I just put a shim under my needle jet with the baffle removed. As far as your throttle cable you should be able to just play with those screws coming out of the throttle.

I havent removed mine yet but my cousins did it to his and he used a 138 main if I am not mistaken. I am going to go from Zquader's base line and start with the 135.5 main and work my way up from there. It says that the jetting is coming soon at the bottom.

Oh yeah I see that now, my bad. Yeah I was thinking about doing the same thing. (Starting w/ a 135.5 main) That might work with the stock pipe and S/A removed. Do you know what sizes come with the K&N jet kit?

stock is a 125 I used a 132.5 not a 135.5 so start at 132.5 and work up. I have my air box plate from inside the lid removed , twin air filter and dmc pipe w/ quiet core so I hope this helps, also dyno jet has different #'s than mikuni so use what they recomend first. I just used mikuni jets
