I just remembered I also want to change my suspension so I can fly over whoops etc etc.

well mje, i was gonna go with works ars, but for 440$ for just the frounts it was steep, i am on the trails now, and i think i am going to get me a nice set of rezzi elkas, i need better handleing now, not speed!.

 

see once again im looking for the suspension thats great at everything...i really dont care how much it costs.

now gimme suggestions on what is going to make my stock suspension feel like it was the worst suspension ever compared to the new suspension

 

Elka dual rates w/ REZZI's get em and never look back, they are gonna burn a hole in your wallet, but they are the best. ride, and they are fully adjustable for comp, rebound, preload, and everything else

 

elkas site doesnt have anything listed for bikes other than rincons and grizzlys..

oh and please tell me if i read correctly...1600 for a pair of shocks?

its a freaking spring. I was thinking like 4 or 500 for shocks. Whats a good shock for around that cost...because I sure as hell aint making an investment that big into the vinny at this time.

according to elka themselves they do not make a shock for the vinson at all.

any other suggestions?

 

elka makes em, but they a speacial order, get the works for 380$ a pair, and 440$ a pair with adjustable rate suspension, thats what im gonna do, i told ya they get expensive.!!!!

 

the rep from elka said they dont even do that.

when you had your cam installed, did you lose the capability to use your pull start?

well mje, i just took a look at my vinson and, the pull starts still there, so i pulled it with the key on about a quarter of a revolution and it started right up.

i would stop spending so much money like its going outta style, between shocks and cam, you are gonna drop almost a grand, + u just sunk a bunch of money into it.
