I have what i think is an 87 quadracer,but now that i mention it,i have no idea what year it might be,because the guywho sold it to me lied to me about everything so far. i dont have the little black serial number label on the frame.i have a serial number on the lower part of my frame.i know it has to be an 87-90.but is there any way to tell other than that?m thers nothing in the serial number that would look like it was suggesting a year

 

how many bolts around reed cage intake?if 5 its a 87 if 6 its 88-92.. intakes bigger on 87 its same size as the zillas

 

what color is the engine? if it is like a regular engine color then its a 85,86 if its blue its 87 or newer

 

yeah,i know its at least an 87 cause it has an exhaust valve,and i know its not really newer because i was under the impression that the later models didnt have that pivoting rear suspension.im checking the intake reed bolts right now

 

well its a blue engine with a 5 bolt reed cage,so its and 87,thanks guys
