z400 exhaust lrd vs. yoshi

i know ppl ask all the time on here about exheast systems and such but im about ready to put a full exhaust on my z400... right now im thinkin about either a lrd full or yoshi comp full exhaust.... i was wonderin about the torque of the 2 pipes and were the power comes on these exhaust... ive heard that the yoshi is more a topend pipe and the lrd is more a bottem end pipe... im goin to do alot of mx racing and trailriding so if anyone has either of these two pipes could ya help me out and tell me the like and dislikes of em.. ive also heard the hmf is a good one bout no quite sure on that one and if anyone else has a diffrent exhaust that they like tell me about it... thanks alot

Scrambler...you seem to have a good knowledge of Z's. Do you own one?? If not you are pretty good at just retaining info!

Was400- I have a Yoshi and am very happy with the performance and the way its kept up. Very little maintenance...

my brother in law has a Z-400 thats where i get most of my info. We help each other out a lot with the modifications on both of our bikes.

our Z has a powerbomb header with an e-series silencer (this took slight modification to make it work) it works well. the exhaust that i have seen work best on a Z is Bills.

Get the yoshi!!!! i have the full exhaust with no pea shooter (spark arestor/ silencer) cause i took it out. And it gives alot of low end as well as all around power. Get the full yoshi and do open air box with a K&n, 165 jet and you will a very pepy and vast Z-400.
Scrambler123 were should i order my new carb from?????

get a fcr40 from service honda go to parts for 03 crf450. If you go this route it will require a different throttle cable set-up, we are running a 300ex thumb throttle and a scrambler cable.
