Default Over tighten oil Resivor Bolt on my Z-400????

The threads on the bolt are good i think the threads in the oil resivor tank are striped. What size tap and die set do i need?????

That sucks...

I stripped the threads inside the actual cases and had to re-tap the threads. Mine was a 1/2 20 I think??? Fine thread that is, and it worked great.

Do i go 1 size bigger than it is now?? Also what kind and size of carb are u using??

Yes one size bigger. I ended up using standard on my new one though, because I didn't have metric...makes no difference.

I am using a "modified" FCR 40mm I guess you could say [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

What do you mean moddified?????? Everyone has been telling me to use a crf450 carberator, they are very exspensive!!!!!!! Also what do you need to run alky.

You know its funny that we are going back and fourth between these two topics.. For awile i thought that icon picture you have was your kid or something, untill i was heading into michegan to ride some weak a$$ dunes at silverlakes and i saw a bill board of that exact picture. Also i hope that carb is for 353.00. What about the 41mm.

ha, ha................ I just got done looking at your pics, and was wondering where you got the intake system for the Z-400? That **** looks nice. It lets alot more air in i spec.
