new king quad...new tires...new questions
after owning 2 praries,an 02 and an 04,i wrote the check today for an 05 KQ today...red,pick it up tomorrow...$7,100.00 otd
im used to a solid rear axle and a low cg
i run 27"mudlites on my o4 prarie and they are a great tire...these 27"tires only measure 26"tall when inflated to 5 pounds
so heres the million dollar question...
i dont want the KQ to sit any higher than stock...does anybody know how tall the 26" mudlites are at 5 pounds?
question #2 is the bolt pattern different from kawie to 'zuki for the rims?
thanks...

The KQ's bolt pattern is 4x110 mm .......... the same as the Brute Force but different (I think) than the Prairies. Doesn't really matter though because the back spacing for the rear wheels are different for SRA vs. IRS machines, so you wouldn't want to swap wheels anyway. Someone said that the stock KQ tire don't measure 25" tall (they are shorter)........so if you want to maintain stock height, take that into consideration.

The fr. are 26x10x12 and the rears are26x12x12 as for price they were added in on the total purchase with the Warn winch. I really like the tires and ITP wheels they work great in the stuff I ride in but I have not had them in snow yet but it did snow here yesterday also have not had them at the beach yet.

If you dont wanna put your new quad in the shop for a month make sure you dont apply reverse in an uphill situation like backing out of a mudhole in reverse for an extended period of time. Thats how i lost reverse in my KQ and from what i see its happening to alot of people right now with there KQ. At least till they get it figured out. Outside of that this thing was a beast till i broke down at 90 miles on the odometer. I have 26 inch mudlites on mine.. Turns them great.
