I have 26 inch x 9 inch wide 589s[on STOCK rims] all the way around my KQ and I like them alot..They are one of the best wearing tires on todays market..They were on my Rincon and had about 1500 miles on them and they still show no wear..The Mudlites will wear out MUCH faster and not provide any better traction.

talked to a sales rep from Ronnies.com today and he recomended the 589's as well, said they would last longer for an extra $5 per tire...also he said i should go with 26x12x12 for the rear which is different than stock...can get all four for $364 delivered...is that out of line...will trail traction be noticeably different than stock?....thx for input

is $364 in the right price range?...i assume putting those on your quads really make significant difference in handling and grip,, does steering become harder?

is the more difficult steering worth the improved grip/traction....i like how easy the bike handles with stock tires but grip/traction in the mud isnt worth a !@#$...if so, sounds like the 589's are the way to go....your help is truly appreciated...where did you buy yours...

I've got both 589s and Mud Lites, all 27" tires mounted on ITP Type 5C wheels....hard to call...I can tell you that the Mud Lites are better for all-around work, but they do not beat the 589s in pure mud....surprisingly the 589s work fairly well on hard pack...but the Mud Lites steer/handle alittle better....
