with the atv still packed with snow from last weeks storm and the near zero temps i took it for a ride today and the 4wd wont work. the indicador comes on but the front tires wont engage....
i put the heater on it see if that helps '

try engageing it when you are doing about 5-10mph and OFF the gas. sometimes i would think the shift module would get stuck, this has happend to mine, but i always shift on the fly.

if not you might have a bad 4x4 shift sensor/ shift module.
