Do aftermarket shocks really make a noticable difference?
Even installing stock take off shocks from a yfz really improved my raptor's handling. I'm not sure which machine you have, but you could also look into a similar trade up if any other suzuki or honda machines have the same front end setup.
Works makes good shocks for the recreational rider and rezzies, while pretty, arent usually necessary for most casual riders. Elka's recreational and dune lines are a good value as well. For top of the line MX shocks, I would look to custom axis and PEP. I have a personal preference for ohlins as well, nice units.

It says in his post that he has a Z400. If you just ride trails and some light mx I would say Works would be your best deal. If you do MX and/or other racing I would go with Elka.
