Cooling System - Quadzilla
Bars leaks works the same as if you put an egg in your cooling system....it'll only cook, and harden if it's exposed to atmoshpere at high temps, like, where a leak occurs..The pellets in it break down when they get warm...so they, in theroy, shouldn't plug much.

as far as bars leak, i dont have any in mine, but my water pump does seep. i been thinking about putting it in, BTW, my water pump is all brand new, including the shaft.
as far as premix, mine runs at 50:1 (currently using amsoil, but i was using bel-ray mc-1)
as far as coolant temps, i would be worried about anything over 220 f. personnaly, i would want it cooler, around the 190 f i read earlier. remember the cooling system is pressurized, so the antifreeze will not boil over untill somewhere in the 250 range. BTW, i have boiled mine a few times (putting around, didnt realize how hot it was). so far no apparent problems. mine has also not had the top end apart since i rebuilt it at least 5 years ago.
