WHEEL SPACERS

i was told wheel spacers put alot of stress on ball joints and stuff with the a arms.....is this true?

Well yes and no, one thing is if you jump a lot and do a lot of hardcore track riding you dont want to get wheel spacers cuz like you said if can put stress on you axle and a-arms, Other wise if you trail ride and stuff you should be fine and shouldnt have any problems. Even though i jump my quad and ride some tracks i still plan on getting spacers all around. Mostly it all depends on the type of riding you do.

for the rear axle spacers are great. I wouldnt put the on the front makes it harder to turn and yes it puts stress on ball joints and adds more leverage to the a-arms
and the front shocks. you have to remember the shocks are set up for the a-arms without spacers. so when you add spacers it changes how the quad rides and handles
so becareful if you use them, I know from experience how they react to stock arms and shocks.

Hey what do you think about flipping your rims. Is it worth it.

i dont think it worth it atall. you need to block off ur old valve stem hole and drill a new hole for the valve stem on the other side, it also puts stress on the a-arms and shocks kinda like spacers. i would just get wheels with a wider offset

Hey just noticed your question, i flipped my rims around and have 2" wheel spacers on my z400. I will not go back now unless I do a hair scramble where I want to be narrow.. I did 2 mx races last week and the quad handles twice as good...if it does wear out the a arms so be it, then you can deal with aftermarket a arms after. way more stability on cornering and jumping...I weigh 210lbs also and have all stock shocks still.
