I liked the 800 sportsman but man, the KQ is soooo much more fun.
I am now the proud owner of two KQ's one for me & the old lady! Guess thats $400.00 in belts LMAO!!
What a machine though...
Couple of questions for you Suzuki di hards. Is it ok to use the Amsoil 0W-40 in this mtr, and what kinds of things should I be looking out for on this quad (maintanance wise)?
Ride on boys!!

I use the Amsoil in mine! Waited till I got to my second oil change at 300 miles...then put in the good stuff! I changed it at around 40 and then just before 300, to be sure all the shavings and such would be out of the oil. There are like six companys making a filter for it now too, so I recommend looking at those too.
Have not found anything on the web about things that come loose or rattle off on the web yet...
If you do lots of jumping the tie rods are a little on the week side, the tires are not the best for demanding conditions, and the rims are weak. A good set of tires without all the flex will help protect the rims! Or aftermarket rims. Here is a link to a guy that races his KQ that now makes heavy duty tie rods!
tie rods for KQ
The filter is hard to get off the first time...they really put them on there!
I have not heard or seen anything on this quad exploding or falling off that you should be concerned about. The reverse issue is fixed on most of the new ones and 5 years warrenty on the rest...
Have fun!

Well.....
I kinda took the loss and traded in straight across, it was worth it to me I liked the KQ that much more!
Sleds are hard to sell this yr, that's for sure markets flooded! I was able to sell our M7 but that was luck IMO!

Yeah not the right time of year to sell a sled especially with bad winters the last couple years. I think I might just take the loss and trade em both in...
