Well, I had pretty good weekend down at Haspin Acres in Indiana.... I had a chance to race several quads... One of them Being the Raptor 700r... The race conditions were dry and dusty on loose dirt.. We raced a couple of times and i beat him every time but , i can say that i was impressed with the new machine . It would easly smoke a stock Z-400 or a stock 660 raptor. Out of the Hole it has yfz/450 launching abilty and just seemed alot faster then its old 660 model.
On the bad side i did loose to a heavly modded Banshee that was bore .50 over the guy said and a yfz-450 that Apparntly just had a air filter and muffler ... RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGht. He was beating Yfz-450s that had the cam mod plus everything else.. Which i could beat. So that s it.

 

Was the 700 stock?

 

great job!! i knew ya had it in ya! Even tho. im a raptor man, i still like to hear about well built quads beating things that they normally dont. I give you props for like the 584236768 time since ive been here.

 

I also raced a raptor 700. I easily beat him, but he was new to riding so it wasnt a good race. I sat on it and it feels a lot better to me then the 660. I also like the idea of fuel injection.

 

When the last time you where up at silver lakes??

 

I have not been to silver since the 4th of july. Im racing at a local flattrack every other weekend, its taking p most of my free time. I would like to go back to silver at least 1 more time this year.

 

Nice job murdr. How do you like your razr2s? Does the tread seem to be lasting okay? Also are you planning to get the new suzuki quadracer lt450r or keeping yours? Lastly whats your topspeed like?

Hey what can i say........ J/k[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] I like the Razr2 but they are a bit on the heavy side.. The tread is very long lasting .. I have had them for awhile now.. Yes, iam planning on getting the new 450 ..If it ever comes out. On a Dyno my quad got upto 87mph.

 

DANGIT MURDR! I wish I knew you were going to haspin. That's my favorite spot! Only 45 minutes from my house. I would have loved to see your yoshi450 in action.
