Hay, yoush guys.
Does anyone have or know where I can get a 230s crankshaft? (85 to 88). I need one for a monster motor Im planning. I need either a good one or a good rebuildable one. My center cases came in this week and im really wanting to get this project started.

Yeah, Vince's can rebuild it for me, but I need a crank first. Its hard to find a used crank for this machine.
I can still buy it new, but im trying to stay away from that route. $$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!
But if im going for the best bottom end I can get, it may be my best/only bet.

Let me look around I might have an extra one in my parts tub. It of course will need to be rebuilt but maybe I can save you a little money. I'll take a look today after work and let you know what I find.

Thanks. All I really need is a left half. I have a crank, it came in a parts bucket, but the threads are mushroomed really bad on the stator side.

 

You're in luck I do happen to have 1 left over. If you want it send me an offer ( PM me ) along with your shipping address so I can get a shipping quote. Everything on it looks good except the rod will need to be replaced, which I would suggest using Vincescycle. I am pretty sure new ones sell for about $300 + s/h and I am keeping in mind that the rod replacement from Vince will run about $125 + s/h so keep your offer fair to me also. Sounds good to me. I noticed your from Thorsby AL. I'm about 30 min. north of Atlanta. I did mapquest and your about 3 hours away from Atlanta. Would you rather me ship it or do you want to work something else out ?
