I'm planning on it. I just cut off every other lug on my back tires and I wanted to show you guys what it looks like. I think it gives me more traction in this kinda loamy ground I have now. Even with the +4 inches on my swingarm, I can goose it and dump the clutch and the front wheels come up in 2nd. Yesterday I was doing donuts with the front wheels off the ground most of the time. I'm thinking of cutting some more off and making a paddle kinda tread.

Oh, I put all the lugs in a bag and it weighs about a pound. Hey, A pound at 20 inches takes a fair amount of power to accelerate though. Rubber is heavy!

Nice, those are the Kenda Klaws right? Did you get the XCs or the MXs? Did you see in my pics that mine came with different things painted?? That kinda pissed me off. The fronts from RM have Sport Six painted whereas the rears from DK have the Klaw XCR painted. Looks kinda goofy but oh well. DK was out of the fronts so I had to order them from RM.

They are the kenda xc sport. I forgot what is painted on the side of mine, but don't worry, they stay covered with dirt all the time.

I cut the big lug out of the center.

XCR is the radial I think. http://www.kendausa.com/atv/sp...html#klawxcsportradial

I don't know. They have the XC which is bias ply. The MX is bias ply also but with a sticky compound of some sort. And they have radials. I'll see what mine say when I go out next.

Looks like you're right. Mine say XCF and XCR too. I guess radials are just XC Radials.

Ok............HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!! !!!!!!!! I just got done committing myself to a day of working in the FREEZING *** garage to get my 230 back together. Went pretty good, got it all together, cleaned up, etc. Got it started up (for the first time in about 3and half weeks) and let it warm up. After taking off I noticed that it didn't seem to have the power that it did before? I went back and forth in 1-2 gear after it warmed up for about 4-5 mins. then immediately tied my friends quad to it so we could pull-start it. went around the block, mostly in 2 gear. Then after we got his started I took off and it back-fired a few times/hesitated????? It seems by the time I get to third, in on the gas it back fires and then wants to stahl out? I pulled the plug and it was kinda white on top. So I figured it may be running lean? So I played with the air/fuel screws but may have just *****ed it up more??? Won't start easy now, and I just got BEYOND fed up! So I decided best to just put it up and walk away. PLEASE HELP ME to figure this thing out. Could the air temp be effecting this at all? ANYTHING......HELP!!!!

YEah, its running lean. Raise the needle some (lower the clip) and see if that helps. You may have to get bigger main jets too. What air filter do you have? You using the airbox lid? Is the valve lash set on the intake valve?
