Dang PG, thats some hardcore stuff out there! Glad you're alright though!

So how do the cases get cracked if the chains aren't snapping? Are they just coming off and spinning and whacking it good? My chain hasn't even fallen off yet so I guess I'm still a rookie, haha.

PG, tell them you'll meet them in a very public, well lit area, where everyone can see you, since he was willing to bring it to you in the first place.

Probably a year ago I drove 4 1/2hours chasing your swing arm.. Went to pismo beach, craigslist pics looked beautiful, the guy sounded almost sane, and I love pismo so what the hell?

The hippie had the swing arm alright, but the pics had to have been 15-20yrs old!
The thing looked like it had been used as an anchor in the pacific ocean for 10 years!! No amount of sandblasting would save it... Being a hippie and all he made my trip worth while...

But that dang piece of steel has become like a holy grail search!!

been trawling ebay for months and finally scored this work of art & engineering for $85. an NOS aftermarket +4 arm for the 'Sport! wewt!!!

Dang PG! I am glad you are ok, but on the other hand, I would love to hear the other story where they try to jump you, and you get the swing arm by paying them in black eyes! It may be wrong to say, but I hate thieves, bullys and twice as bad when they wear both hats. I hope they they get theirs some day.
