hey guys i have a ltz400 and i can get it to turn. i replaced the soleniod and the on off switch. what else could it be.

what do you mean by get it to turn? wont crank? turns over but no start? and what year we talking about?

its an 05 and it will not start. i push the button and nothing happens. i can push start it and it goes no problem

Well first of all how is your battery,are you getting gas and spark? are you getting electric to your controls,and make sure that your wires haven't come disconnected since for the z400's you need to pull in the clutch in order to start them so see if you can wiggle the wire and start it.

O and make sure you have gas and haven't run out and try it on pri and see if that helps any. Get back to us on what works and what doesn't

sound like the switch or wires on the clutch lever, or bad starter solinoid, check both wires on the starter for power when trying to start it you should have power on both, if you do then its a starter problem, if power on only one wire (large one) and not the small wire then its either a switch or wire problem

ok i replaced the solenoid and the on off switch. i can jump the solenoid and it turns just fine. anything im missing.

You have to pull in the clutch in order to start a z so try wiggling the wires maybe something came loose and are you getting spark and gas to the engine
