I just read an article from atvaction magazine on the Q'runner 500. It dissapointed me because they said it didn't have enough power and it would not pull like the other quads in its class. If this is certainly true please let me know.

Also could you guys give me some info on which would be better, the Q'Runner and King quad, in these catagories:

Traction
downhiling
hillclimbing
speed
pulling power
suspension
rock crawling

THANKS IN ADVANCE,
ride safe

Power is not a problem - with low range you can pull absolutely anything. The crappy dunlop tires that mine came with were the problem until I got a set of GY Mudrunners. I just wish it went faster than the 50 it does now!

I agree with the other posts. I believe the 500 has 32 horsepower and the most torque in it's class. I've pulled out pine trees and towed huge loads of fire wood. I agree about the tires, the factory dunlops are not good. Get rid of them, add 27" tires with a good tread and you're good to go. Right now I've been plowing snow and it sure has the power to get the job done. I have to make sure my plow isn't too low or I'll take the limestone out of my driveway with the snow. I'm very happy with the power of the 500 quadrunner.

500 vs. King Quad (my two favorite 4x4s)

Traction - king quad - diff lock is awesome.

downhiling - king quad - diff lock super low who needs brakes?

hillclimbing - 500 - more power, momentum is key

speed - 500 - no contest

pulling power - 500 - can't beat the torquiest machine on the market

suspension - 500 - king quad is comfortable at slow speeds and the irs is nice but the travel on the 500 wins here.

rock crawling - king quad - diff lock, super low, irs.
