Default Eiger Valve Adjusting Problems

I have tried adjusting my valves to specs a couple times now and have the following problems.

1. Intake not so bad but guage is still a bit difficult to get in there.

2. Exhaust is a pain! with everything removed to get to them I still can't get the guage in there! Is there a good feeler guage or tool I could get to make this easier?

3. Finding when the valves are closed all the way is a pain just when i thing they are just the slightest movement changes things a bunch. Any tips?

I have got them adjusted the best i can and sounds good cold but when hot they tick a bunch.

Just give me if you could a few pointers or what has worked for you.

Many Thanks
