03 z400 won't start
 

Ok im new so forgive the ignorance I may bring to the table. I have a 03 z400 that I jetted a week ago. It has stock pipe and kn filter. Also has procomm cdi. I removed the tank to check plug to make sure I wasnt running lean and when I put it back together it would not start. Whe I pull the plug wire off and hit the start button it won't fire until I let off of button. I took it to the local independent shop and he told me the cdi was bad. I called procomm and they told me that the 03 had a neutral sensor that if it was dirty it would cause the bike to act like that. I cleaned it but no difference. I read a couple of posts on procomm on here before i posted this and was interested to find the number of cdis that are bad. I was told they hardly ever go bad. I realize that Im linked to the world on here. My question is about the cdi problem I have. Has anyone heard of this or any help is greatly appreciated.

never heard of this happening before. but take your stock cdi box and throw it back on there. try and start it. and is it turning over but not firing? did you mess with the carb at all.
