Question On King Quad
I am considering buying an 08 King Quad 750. When I test rode one today, I really liked it except for one thing.
On the asphalt when I was going along slow 10 to 15 MPH, then gently accelerate, there was a vibration of some sort that seemed to be generating from the Drive belt. Is this a common thing with the clutch on these, and if so is it fixable? |

There is no problem with the drive train on the KQ series that I know of and the V belt is a very reliable - BTW ... there isn't a clutch ... |
Question On King Quad
I know they're not for asphalt. Just felt to me like a little belt hop going on maybe because the clutch didn't down shift fast enough, then when you accelerate, it's trying to shift down quickly. I think maybe a small clutch mod with weight and springs will cure it. Thet do have a CVT with a belt which is basically a snowmobile type clutch.
