1 Wheel Drive???What's going on?

So I went from losing my 4x4 in reverse, to now losing a rear wheel in 2wd. What's going on here? Do I need new differential gears, transmition, ect.?? I really have little knowledge on engine work. All I get is clicking from the front diff when trying to us 4x4 in reverse. Now my whole quad pushes to the left because my right rear is the only one turning with the engine. This sucks. Can someone try to let me know if these problems = new quad (someday$$) or would it be worth getting fixed(another words would I be spending almost as much as another quad). Man I am so let down, now I just spin that right rear tire when trying to go anywhere, takes forever to get up to speed.

There has to be a problem in the rear diferential IMO.
With the machine up on a block, does the left CV shaft turn? Can you hold it with your hand and stop it and the right side still turn?
If the left shaft is turning, maybe a problem out on the wheel end. Maybe a broke CV?
Something loose on the shifter not allowing it to go 100% in gear?
Good luck.

I put the quad up on a jack and found the rear wheel not turning with the other. So, there is a clicking up where the cv boot is. I guess I snapped a cv joint. Wow, here we go again with the all famous question, how hard is this to fix for a beginner? I can minipulate the joint by pressing up on it and the wheels will turn together, but as soon as I let it down nothing. I thought it might be on the wheel side of things but ends up no. At least I know it isn't a differential problem or something more major.
