i am thinking of buying a new atv and i am stuck between these 3 : 08 kfx 450 , 08 ltr 450 , 08 trx 450... i was wondering which one is faster more comfortable and which one's handling is better... overall which one do you prefer? thanks

Kaw, nice but won't be sitting in my garage anytime soon. The best of the best cannot get great HP out of the motor. Stock suspension is ok. Handling is ok.
Zuki, Wide front end, Suspension is a cut above the others. Seem to handle just fine. The motor is easily woke up with a Cherry Bomb plug in (50 bucks or so).
TRX, The ultimate in dependability. Suspension is not as good as the Zuki but good. Handling is good. Power is good and the motor can be woke up easily with a mild cam and a pipe.
I should say that all the motors in stock form run fine and are faster than most of the riders on em.
Comfort is a personal thing, you need to sit on them.

Now if money was no object, the KTM 525SX (XC version) is what I'd be getting. But that's me. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

yes its true ltr 450 is the most race ready...and handling is very nice but power which one is the powerfull in stock ?

in my city ( cyprus ) LTR ...KFX...TRX is 7500 stg
CAN-AM DS 450 mx is 11000 stg
and i dontknow KTM its 11 +++

As far as "most powerful stock goes" the honda is the torquer of the buch, the suzuki is the revver and I've heard the Kawi is a really nice blend of evenything, but on a much more tame level, awsome trail and desert quad.
This is kind of odd, cause in the bike world the Kawi is by far the fastest and meanest.

Really for as much money as these proposed bikes cost, none are fast enough for the money. I have ridden all but the Kawi and am not impressed. These machines are not worth the raw materials they are made of unitl they are opened up. If you are going to invest that much money into a machine that is just going to be walked away from by any decent 2 stroke from the 80's then I would just suggest a Z400. They really aren't fun until you at least get the fumes exiting in the proper manner. Pipe em, then they become fun and worth that massive chunk of change you intend to plunk down.

 

keep in mind you posted this in the suzuki section so most views are going to lean towards the zuk. Try posting this in the "sport quad" section and see if the responses you get are less biased.

im not a yamha fan, but there new yfz is lookin pretty good. uh if you like honda then i would wait a year or so cuz they are going to start competing with yamaha. well what kind of riding are you doing? kawi has reverse! and fi.
