06 Eiger bearings

I just started hearing some noise from the front hubs. I checked the brake pads and they still have some life left in them so I am pretty sure it is the bearings. I haven't opened up the hub so / are these sealed bearings or can they be cleaned and re-packed? If they are sealed, is there someone else besides the Suzuki dealer to buy from and what kind of $$$ am I looking at. Thanks for any info.

Call your local bearing supply dealer; they may have a book that gives them the correct replacement bearings. Or, give them the numbers listed on the current bearing, or just remove the old bearing and take them to the shop.
Can't guarantee it, but you will usually get a higher quality bearing--and for less $$--at a bearing shop.

last time i replaced my bearings i went to the bearing shop " kinecor" i had the bearing numbers and seal numbers with me found them on an online microfiche such as ronnies. the "stealer" litterally 200 yards away wanted something like $25 each bearing $15 each seal thats like $160 plus tax for the 2 front wheels.
I got them for $4 each bearing "SKF brand" about $4 for the seal, thats like $32 plus tax
