Default Greetings to all - another newbie

Looking forward to reading all your ups & downs - then hopefully I'll know not to try any of the down sides.I've recently purchased a Suzuki LT 125 1986 ( don't tell my kids they'll kill me, got it for when I go whitebaiting & fishing. Anyway I'm getting to damn old to pull start the quad & was looking at setting up an electric starter on her. Has anyone done this? She only has pull start - no kick. Hear from someone soon I hope. Cheers all.

Welcome to the forums.

I've moved this over to the Suzuki section so you'll get more responses.

Welcome.
The 86 125 will be a collector item. I'd moth ball it.
Get yourself a nice quad with suspension and oh yea, get the kiddies a machine too.

Not so much a collectible as it is old, but I still like to see them out running. If you've got an iron butt, then you won't need the rear suspension..lol

You might try Goki Starters at

GOKI Price List

Run you about $300

Damn, I'm good...

Thanks for the replies - Reasons as mentioned for purchasing the quad, cheap & I can lift it on my own. As for my kids their in their 30s now & away from home. But they both know their mum is still a kid at heart. Never to old to bike around & go fishing. I have just purchased another 1 for parts although I may look into what is wrong & if worth repairing & have 2 quads. So far I love the little thing although I have always been a Honda fan. Quads in our Country are not cheap hence the reason for getting the LT125. Again many thanks for the replies.

Thanks for that Texas - we're to far away to make that purchase & postage costs loads. There is always a way to adapt & we will give it a go. Thank you for the Goki web site. As for the suspension I have no worries about that & little bumpy but it is all part of the fun. Cheers
