Rock solid machines with plenty of power. Although, if you are coming from a 800 XT, you probably wont' be impressed with the power.

Like any other machine, there will be some things that you will want to tweak. One of them will be the caster angle mod or add a front stabilizer.

I love my King but I agree with the power issue. I've had my King for almost 3 years now and have had no need to do the castor mod or stabilizer. I think it's a very smooth riding machine, very stable and yet good ground clearance.
The negatives are those cheap plastic pins that disappear often but when you go to buy them from Suzuki, they're not so cheap-lol. As they go, replace them with aftermarket. If high water riding is in your future, you need to mod the CVT exhaust (very easy)

The only negative thing I've heard about them from reviews or riders is the steering is a little twitchy. It's about the best bang for your buck affordability wise.

I bought an 09 750 in December and love it so far. Bigger tires and exhaust are in order though. Not that it needs them but I want to customize it a bit. I say go for it.

Yea, some folks experience the "twitchy" steering... hence the recommendation of the caster mod, or stabilizer. The EPS models changed the caster angle, and those mods are not necessary.
