84 LT 125 stator/won't start
Hello, I new to the post and new to 4 wheeling, I've been reading post all day and can't find an answer so I'll ask. I' trying to check the stator on my 84 Suzuki LT 125. My manual won't be here from a week and I'm dying to work on this thing. The R/W stator wire going to the lights checks over 2M ohms to grd(that don't sound good to me). My BR/B stator wire going to CDI checks 245 ohms to grd(this seem a little low) and the Blue wire going to the pick up coil measured 129 ohms to grd. Does anyone know what this should read?

We did get it running yestersay pretty good, but after stopping wouldn't restart. Turned the carb screw today and it started and ran OK, some bogging we adjusted out. (Both screws are about 1/8 turn out, I though it would be a least 1 1/4 out. I have a carb kit, choke plunger and primer kit on the way so I can go through the carb. If anyone knows what the reading are above I'd still like to know, I checked the lighting coil again today and it checked 1 ohm. Thanks

Well I thought about it today and even though I don't know the resistance of the coil I should be able to measure the output of the primary coil and it should be +6Vdc, I think. So I hooked up the OScope to the primary output before the CDI, pulled the core and it gave me+6.2Vdc. I hooked it up to the lighting coil and it was in the mV, could be bad? Does this sound like a good way to check this? Thanks

After I put the carb kit in it it starts on the first pull and idles great. It bogs when you hit the gas hard but if you keep the rpm's up it runs great. My primary coil is showing 245 ohms and should be 350-400 ohms, so I will order one.
